I had a busy and highly pleasant weekend, a small, private Thanksgiving with justbeast at our favorite French restaurant in Vermilion, Chez Francoise, before flying out to Denver on Wednesday to spend the big day with my family.
Then I drove out to Youngstown to visit zakbar, whereupon he and his lovely partner and I went out and drank far too much, danced to Britney Spears new and dubious music, and talked about how to write good sex scenes. We woke up monumentally groggy, but he made a fabulous Japanese breakfast before I slogged back to Cleveland with bleary eyes. I ain'tnt in college anymore.
Now I get to try to get a bunch of little things done before our flight, have a second Thanksgiving with the Beast-in-laws tonight, and try to catch up on sleep. And I'm going on tour again in two weeks, so sleep is important, and will soon be in short supply.
Excellent news is brewing, but it'll be awhile before I can say anything. Keep your fingers crossed...
And if anyone liked In the Cities of Coin and Spice, would you consider heading over to Amazon and posting a review? Sequels always get less, and it's lonely. Don't let Klausner stand alone!
