Wait till you see what Kaluta did with the sequel, you guys!
I am off to San Diego in a few hours, hoping to have enough feasible transportation to see everyone I want to see, and longing to set toe in the Pacific again. I haven't been back since 01, so this should be a trip, to say the least. I am bringing a package of all my books to my old Greek professors, who taught me about sex, death, and that language can be taken apart and put back together in fabulous ways.
When I get back I am participating in a genteel, quiet writing marathon which should just about finish off The Alchemy of Winter, if ministers of grace are on my side. Today I am working on getting A Guide ot Folktales...together as a manuscript, which means the joys of determining poem order--please remember if you are submitting a cover to the contest to do so as soon as possible, but not after September 30th. The ARC has a working cover of my own design because I highly doubted anyone had anything ready as of this moment.
And speaking of ARCs, if anyone out there with literary chops would like to blurb the collection, let me know and I'll get you an ARC.
I think that's everything, before I leave the state. I'll try to take some pictures of my old haunts. See you on the flipside!
