Almost There! (Stay on Target)

The Orphan's Tales: In the Cities of Coin and Spice will be released on Tuesday--but you can get it early if you're in Cleveland! (If not, hie ye hence to pre-ordering!)

The launch party is from 7-10pm at The Carriage House (which is behind Fine Points on the East Side) at 12620 Larchmere Blvd. There will be AMAZING food from babymonkey's fabulous mother, music by s00j, readings by me, art by 22 wonderful artists, and an honest-to-god jester. All are welcome! All proceeds from the art auction benefit the Interstitial Arts Foundation. Pics and an artist list will go up Monday on the orphanstales.com.

The auction will work thusly: if you are outbid at any of the subsequent shows, I will email you and give you the opportunity to up your bid. Or you can give me a ceiling and I will put that down as the minimum bid at the next show. Either way, everyone will get a fair chance to get what they want. Goodies for the artists and the art itself will be mailed out after December 4th. For the exceptionally large items there may be a shipping charge.

And I can safely announce that we will have two original Michael Kaluta sketches up for auction: one from the book and one entirely new.

Be sure to get your copy one way or the other--the story ends in three days.

And remember, stories are like prayers. It's time to go to church.
