Blog Tour

So...ktempest, because she is wonderful and smart, suggested I do a blog tour for In the Cities of Coin and Spice. Which means that I "come" to another blog, and we do whatever you want--interview, conversation, bitch about Doctor Who, a podcast of me reading or nattering on about fairy tales--I could even be convinced to do interviews as characters (anyone but the girl in the garden). Possibly even an exclusively fiction short. Whatever you like.

So for the month of November, I'll be available to come round to yours and dance like a monkey for my supper. Anyone game?

The trees are only just turning yellow...yet there are brown leaves blustering everywhere today.

Later, I will be posting about my adventures in making apple jam. I am all over domestic today, harvesting our herbs from the garden before they wither, making jam, writing poetry about marriage. I hereby declare it My House Is Too The Hermitage Day. International. Yeah.

I had a heart stopping moment of Blue Screen of Death yesterday. Computer! That is TIRED and PLAYED OUT and NO ONE is wearing that color anymore. Knock it the hell off. I do not want your old school kvetching. *hits computer, opens it up, blows on it, puts cartridge back in, closes it*

Our bathroom, incidentally, has also given up the ghost, and most of the sink piping needs to be replaced. Which makes it a good time to rip everything else out, since whoever built this house did it mostly out of drywall and whimsy. Thus this is a week of labor all around.

I Can Haz Keroseen?

Finally, the New Kitten Descends!

She has been cuddling like crazy with the dogs. "I haz big moolticultrul fambly," she retorts, and goes on snuggling. Which leads to...

Yes, that is Grimm, and that is Motya trying to nurse. Grimm is placid but confused. Motya is a bad nipple-biter. She also doesn't macro well as she is mostly a quick black smudge on camera. Ninja, I tell you.

Homeless and starving to internet fame in just under two weeks. This is one smart cat.
