The sequel to The Girl Who Circumnavigated Fairyland is coming out in a mere 12 days--October 2nd! It is called The Girl Who Fell Beneath Fairyland and Led the Revels There. (You can pre-order it at that link!)

I will be on tour for all of October! And coming to a whole bunch of places I've never been before! (And some familiar stops.) So you should definitely try to come out--also it's lonely without an audience!

This is where I'll be. I hope to see you there!

OH WAIT. At the St. Louis and Collegeville stops? s00j will be joining me for one of our classic amazing reading concerts! We haven't been able to do one of these on the road together since Palimpsest, so do not miss this chance!

Glad to hear that you will be coming to Pandemonium :) I will bring my six-year-old. We are reading the first book at night before bed, so we should hopefully be done by then and can pick up the second book! We are enjoying it greatly and I am having to strongly resist the urge to read ahead after he is asleep :)

Strange question for you regarding the tour... Do you have your own map to Palimpsest and is it easily drawn? I kind of made my own and took to putting it into the inside cover or title pages of copies I've loaned or given people over time... probably corny, I know, but I feel like in writing you must have known what your map would look like and I'd love for you to be able to add it to mine if I'm able to make it to Collegeville?

How are your stops decided? Is there a good way to request somewhere like Atlanta? I would think it's a big enough city, but it seems like the only time we get people coming through is for DragonCon and maybe the Decatur Book Festival (which, of course, I managed to end up with a migraine all through this year...) It's always struck me as odd that I never see it on author tour lists.

They're decided by the publicity team. I'm sure Atlanta is an advantageous stop, it just didn't make it on this time. I think I'm supposed to be at Decatur next year. But in the meantime, get your local indie bookstore to ping my publicist at Feiwel!

I think the way I'd said it made it sound kind of as a criticism, and it wasn't meant that way. It just seems like we get very few book-related cool things happening here, in comparison to the number of concerts, sports events, what have you .(And this may just be my perception, who knows - it may just be that all the interesting stuff happens in Decatur and I need to pay attention to stuff over on that side of the metro area. I'm in an area at least half an hour drive from Decatur, so I don't always hear about things over there)

I have been pissing off the publishing gods lately, clearly. There's no other explanation for Colorado, Wyoming, and Ariona but NOT Utah.

BUT! I wish you luck, and am so excited for the sequel to Fairyland that I've been making all kinds of undignified noises.
