Ok. Are you ready? This is pretty rad.

I got home to a big box of books last night. Beautiful, colorful books with illustrations and everything! What were they?

OMG FAIRYLAND ARCs!

Which means I can finally post the cover I've had to not show people for months! Note this is the preliminary cover, it will have shiny foil things and slightly different stuff in the final. And my initial. But I can at last show you.

And yes, I will be giving some ARCs away. I do not yet know how I will be doing that, so give me a few days to think of a way to make it fair and fun.

Official release date? May 10, 2011.

And in the meantime HOLY CRAP IT'S A WYVERARY GET IN THE CAR!

In case there was confusion, I love it SO MUCH. Ana Juan is amazing, and the illustrations are like Frida Kahlo and John Tenniel went on an awesome date. The ARCs have all the illos in them and are full color--just stunning! Look! It's Ell and September!

BEAUTIFUL!!!

I think it funny that my first experience of this book will be in printed format, with that cover. And soon, I hope!

Congratulations!

Mine too! And what a lovely cover it is.

Holy crap, that looks awesome!

Wonderful!

Are you dropping the "M." from your YA/Children's books?

No, no, it's on the ARCs, this was a mock up.

*grins* That is SO cool.

HOLY CRAP THIS IS MADE OF SO MUCH WIN THAT IT WON.

That will make one awesome holiday gift.

Verry Pretty.

If I didn't want one before (which I did) I would want one now.

Fabulous, in the most literal sense of the word. We WANTS it, precious!

Oh my god, I LOVE that cover. The illustration is phenomenal.

OMG. This is made of WIN. It's seriously a wonderful cover and i want 6000 of them.

This book meant a lot to me when I was going through some dark places and I intend to have it as one of those books where I have (at least two) copies, and give away copies to friends, much like I do with The Last Unicorn.

I can't wait to see the illustrations!

Purty.
It'll make a great month late birth day gift to meself.

OMG OMG OMG OMG! Totally buying this when I can. This will be proudly displayed next to my recently ordered copy of "Habitation" (which, by the way, looks amazing, especially with those pages. I love the pages.)

Stunning is definitely the right word, that cover is gorgeous! Why do we have to wait til May?!

I can't wait to hold this in my hands and love it and pet it and call it George. Or something.

It's so lovely! I've been waiting for this in paper before reading it :) Yay May!

N.

Oh, delicious. I am so going to have to read this one hard.

Eeeeeee, Fairyland cover soawesome!

I must admit, I came at your novels sideways, being introduced to them by way of SJ Tucker (and her fabulously cryptic songs that reference your work). But ever since hearing "September's Rhyme" for the first time, I have been squeefully excited about the release of this book. And the cover art just makes it MORE exciting. Yay! Can't wait to get my copy. :D

I melt into puddle of love. So happy!
